To me, she was flawless. Whatever delicate imperfections she may have had were far beyond my

comprehension. As soon as I saw that smile, it poured colour into the grey.

And yet… while life had previously crawled by, burdened by the monotony of my loneliness, I

realised that each sublime second we spent together seemed to accelerate the world around us.

Almost imperceptible at first. Then, undeniable.

Soon, days passed with every contented beat of our entwined hearts.

We looked into each other and smiled. We understood.

A lifetime became a blissful blur. The rest of the world simply melted away
