Your Eyes

Pam Martin-Lawrence

Your eyes. OMG yes your eyes. They're serotonin and I'm smiling. They're champagne and I’m fizzing. Just one glance and you've got me jonesing like a junkie.

My drug of choice - if you were my dealer I’d have you on speed dial. I want you on speed dial. With your eyes. You would always deliver.

Still high I risk another glimpse. But fuck, your eyes! Laser-focused. Locked and loaded. And I'm in your sights, exactly where I want to be.

Under your mirror gaze, deep and rich and oh so smooth, like hot cocoa on the coldest day. Yeah, your eyes. Holding me, enveloping me, swallowing me whole.

Oh your eyes. Beautiful. Intense. Seductive. Starving, they devour me. They are everything for which I have ever hungered.

They’re velvet and chocolate and kisses on my skin.
