Submissions Outline

We’re an art + writing gallery. Here’s how to send us your work (or get feedback):

1. Monthly Exhibits

What: Poems, prose, art, or hybrid work responding to our current monthly theme.

When: Open until the deadline listed on our site/Instagram.

How: Submit via the Monthly Exhibit Form.

Notes: Themes are broad — we’re looking for emotional urgency, not literal takes.

2. News/Now (Weekly Call)

What: A poem written in response to something that happened this week (political, cultural, absurd, or devastating).

When: Submissions open Friday–Sunday each week.

How: Submit via the News/Now Form.

Notes: One winner is published every Monday with bespoke illustration.

3. Proposals

What: Meaningful ideas for future monthly exhibits.

When: Open year-round.

How: Submit via the Exhibit Proposal Form.

Notes: Proposals must be detailed — explain why the theme matters and what kinds of work it could hold.

4. Feedback

What: Editorial feedback on your submission packet for any journal (not just us). You choose the type of feedback you want (line edits, structural notes, voice/originality) and can add on tailored writing drills.

When: Anytime.

How: Submit via the Feedback Form.

Notes: Standard fee is £25 / $30. Low-income writers can request feedback for free; if you’re able to leave a small tip it helps us keep this sustainable. Add-on personal drills are +£10 / $12 (or free if low-income). You’ll receive a personalised feedback booklet by email.

5. Questions & Issues

What: Problems, corrections, or accessibility concerns.

When: Anytime.

How: Submit via the Help Desk Form.

⚡ Simultaneous submissions are welcome. Please notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere.

⚡ Rights: We ask for first electronic rights and archival rights. All other rights revert back to you after publication.

⚡ Accessibility: If you have trouble using the forms, email us directly: submit@pagegalleryjournal.com
